McCarthy’s Central Division currently has a need for a Director of Business Development for the Healthcare Business Unit. The Healthcare Business Unit provides service to hospitals and healthcare systems across 50% of the U.S.
The Director of Business Development will identify project opportunities fitting the goals and objectives of the Healthcare Business Unit. The Director will also manage marketing and sales efforts on an ongoing basis.

| Responsibilities: |
• Maintain and expand relationships with current and future clients, architects, consultants and other business and community organizations.
• Work as a strategic partner with the Central Division and the Healthcare Business Unit senior management team and existing divisional business development departments.
• Initiate client follow up on current projects and new leads.
• Direct the assembly of RFQ/RFP proposals and presentations, coordinating all personnel, graphics and other requirements to meet established guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a strong industry involvement that is directly beneficial to McCarthy.
• Significant travel is required.

| Qualifications: |
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and develop winning strategies to secure new and repeat business.
• Proven track record of business and strategic planning capability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• 5+ years of experience in preconstruction/ construction/construction management.
• 5+ years of experience in business development with demonstrated results.
• Established base of client and consultant contacts throughout the St. Louis market.
• A college degree in marketing or construction related fields.
• Superior organizational and writing skills.
• Proven computer and business development database management skills.
• Ability to present a polished and professional image at all times.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
